Meta IT strengthens ESG leadership with global EcoVadis recognition
Meta IT earned the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, one of the leading global certifications in corporate sustainability. In 2025, more than 1,000 companies in the industry took part in the assessment, and Meta IT ranked among the top 33%, based on rigorous criteria across environmental, social, ethical and governance dimensions.
The EcoVadis certification evaluates policies, actions and results related to topics such as integrity and compliance, environmental management, human rights, labor practices and value chain responsibility. The recognition reflects Meta IT consistent progress in these areas and reinforces sustainability as a structural part of the company strategy.
This result is supported by established practices and the transparency of Meta IT ESG information, consolidated in its 2024 Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the GRI 2021 Universal Standards, an international reference for comparability and quality in sustainability reporting. The document reinforces Meta IT vision of human growth with technology and the building of trusted relationships with employees, clients, partners and society.
Beyond the results of the year, the report highlights the principles that guide Meta IT actions and its contribution to themes aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, such as clean energy, education, diversity, innovation and ethical governance.
Transparency, ethics and corporate governance
The EcoVadis Bronze Medal assessment recognizes the maturity of Meta IT’s governance model, with a focus on integrity, accountability and risk-based decision-making. Highlights include:
- 100% of employees trained on the Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Whistleblower channel with 100% of reports addressed
- Zero corruption cases recorded
- Robust policies on compliance, third-party relationships, data protection and information security
These practices strengthen the foundations that supported the EcoVadis Bronze Medal recognition and reinforce Meta IT’s ongoing commitment to ethics, transparency and compliance.
Environmental responsibility and operational efficiency
Meta IT’s environmental initiatives demonstrate consistent progress in managing energy, emissions and waste, with a focus on efficiency and reducing environmental impact:
- 85% of consumed energy sourced from renewable energy, driven by investments in solar energy and operational efficiency
- Comprehensive GHG emissions inventory under the GHG Protocol, totaling 1,167.30 tCO2e and providing strategic visibility for mitigation actions
- Elimination of plastic cups, expansion of selective waste collection and encouragement of electronic equipment reuse
These results reinforce Meta IT’s commitment to responsible environmental practices, connecting technology, management and sustainability.
People, diversity and culture
With more than 2,500 employees across more than 20 countries, Meta IT fosters a culture centered on human growth with technology and the creation of an inclusive, safe and diverse environment. In 2024:
- 62% of professionals participated in development and training programs
- 100% of employees covered by collective agreements and health and safety assessments
- More than 40% of leadership positions were held by women, above the technology sector average
- Onboarding, mentoring, certification and corporate education programs strengthened team growth
The report also highlights support for the Recanto Maestro Youth Orchestra, benefiting more than 240 young people through music education and cultural development, further reinforcing the social dimension recognized by the EcoVadis Bronze Medal.

Responsible governance in the supplier chain
As part of the evolution of its ESG agenda, Meta IT strengthened its procurement governance with the publication of the Supplier Contracting Policy and the Ethics and Sustainability Code for Suppliers.
These documents establish clear criteria for selecting, evaluating and engaging with business partners, covering legal compliance, integrity, human rights, environmental responsibility, data protection and commitment to practices aligned with the ESG agenda.
