Meta IT at Dreamforce
Meta IT was present at Dreamforce, a Salesforce event in San Francisco – USA – that took place between September 19th and 23rd, accompanying one of our North American clients.
The first day of the conference was entirely dedicated to training and certifications purposes; Salesforce refers to any professional involved in the ecosystem as a “Trailblazer”, while professionals who go into more technical depth and are able to provide training and supervision receive a “Ranger” designation. The top classification is the “MVP”, Most Valuable Professional, which is dedicated to super-specialists.

Dreamforce had presentations by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris, two of Salesforce’s founders, and other renowned speakers such as Bono Vox, Matthew McConaughey, Robert Gates, and Simone Biles. More than 1,000 sessions took place in a convention center with about 4 large rooms specially decorated for the event, which received a total of 40,000 people in person and more than 110,000 virtually.
In addition to all the attractions, Dreamforce also featured a happy hour organized by Salesforce Latin America and a closed performance by Red Hot Chili Peppers for the attendees. The funds raised for the event will be donated to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Salesforce is a company that transforms the way departments, agencies and their contractors connect, managing the relationship between companies and people.
