In partnership with Meta IT, Paradise Mobile is launching a cloud-native Communications Service Provider

The company aims to help the Cayman Islands and Bermuda evolve into tech paradises, not only by providing 5G but also by offering a dedicated platform for developers.

As a native technology company, Paradise Mobile’s culture revolves around experimentation, decentralized decision-making, trust, and transparency. When seeking a technology partner, Paradise Mobile prioritized sourcing a partner that could offer a modern approach from onboarding to customer service. Meta IT was an ideal match for Paradise due to cultural compatibility, and the partnership began in early 2023, given Meta IT’s experience in flexibility, agility, and responsiveness. “The alignment of mindset and shared culture is of utmost importance when selecting partners. Culture plays a pivotal role in the success of the partnership. “So, we need to bring the mentality that the team needs to be good enough to adapt to their culture, to work within it. They allowed us to join them because we offered the flexibility required to implement services and staff and assist them in building what they need to launch the company”, says Andre Saar, Sales Executive at Meta IT. To be truly innovative requires a commitment to adaptability, and Meta IT demonstrated the ability to adjust to evolving market conditions throughout the process. “So, you need to really look at the markets, observe market trends, and adapt your company at a very fast pace”, Saar explains.

A unique challenge of this project is the use of Open RAN solutions to achieve the necessary flexibility to keep pace with rapidly evolving cloud technologies in the telecom sector while connecting with the entire innovation ecosystem. Meta IT understood Paradise Mobile’s vision and offered their best resources to support the project. “In markets like this, Meta IT has focused on providing us with full cross-functional pods for agile delivery. This is great because the members of these pods have a really good level of not only full stack development but also agile principles, making it very easy to work with them,” celebrates Gonzalez.

In September 2023, Paradise Mobile executives visited Brazil to meet the team in person, as most of their collaboration happens remotely. “We took an opportunity to come together as a team in Brazil, dedicating a full week to figuring out solutions for some of the more complex challenges that require face-to-face interaction. Most importantly, it allowed us to get to know better the people that we see as little squares on our screens every day”, says Gonzalez.
